Adani Infra (India) Ltd has acquired a 1.03% stake in Adani Green Energy Ltd for ₹2,380 crore, according to block deal data reported by the Hindu Businessline.

The transaction, executed on the National Stock Exchange of India, represents a significant capital injection from the promoter group into the renewable energy subsidiary.

The acquisition follows a strong start to fiscal 2027 for Adani Green Energy, which reported a 19% year-on-year increase in consolidated profit for the first quarter, reaching ₹983 crore.

Shares of Adani Green Energy rose 1.48% following the disclosure of the deal.

The purchase price implies a valuation premium, signaling continued confidence from the Adani Group in the long-term growth trajectory of its clean energy assets.

This move comes as the conglomerate seeks to consolidate its position in India's rapidly expanding renewable sector.
