India’s state-owned oil marketing companies have slashed the price of 19-kg commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders, reducing rates by ₹202 in Delhi and ₹209 in Kolkata.

The cuts, reported by Hindu Businessline, reflect a direct pass-through of declining global feedstock costs to the commercial sector.

Domestic cylinder prices remain unchanged, highlighting a continued divergence in pricing strategy between household and commercial consumers.

The reduction marks the latest adjustment in a series of price changes over recent months, as marketers respond to softer international energy benchmarks.

This move follows similar downward revisions in the region, including recent cuts by Litro Gas Lanka Limited in Sri Lanka.

The trend underscores how easing global supply pressures are beginning to filter through to retail prices in South Asian markets, offering relief to small businesses and restaurants that rely on LPG for cooking and heating.
