Thyssenkrupp has confirmed that its materials trading subsidiary, tk accelis, will be listed on the stock market this autumn.
The German industrial group stated that the spin-off will become legally effective upon registration in the commercial registers of Thyssenkrupp AG.
The move represents a significant milestone in Thyssenkrupp’s broader corporate restructuring.
By taking tk accelis public, the group aims to unlock value from its commodity trading operations, which have grown in strategic importance amid global supply chain shifts.
The IPO will separate the trading arm from the parent company’s core industrial businesses, allowing tk accelis to operate with greater financial independence.
According to Manager Magazin, the decision follows internal preparations to streamline Thyssenkrupp’s portfolio.
