Handelsavisen AS wants handelsavisen.no to be usable by as many people as possible.

Commitment

Handelsavisen aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, in line with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and its Norwegian implementation. The legal floor for a public-facing Norwegian site is WCAG 2.1 Level AA (forskrift om universell utforming av IKT-løsninger; likestillings- og diskrimineringsloven § 18).

Status

The site is partially conformant. Known limitations are listed here with a remediation timeline as the conformance work completes; a statement cannot honestly claim full conformance until the outstanding assessment (keyboard focus order, 400% reflow, full dark-theme contrast) is run.
